What makes us different?

1. We're a registered charity
Our goal is your outcome, not our sale
Mobility Centre is owned and operated by Your Way | Kia Roha, a registered NZ charity. That means we're not motivated by commission or quarterly targets. We're motivated by getting the right equipment into the hands of people who genuinely need it.
When our specialists make a recommendation, you can trust it comes from a place of genuine care.
2. Trained, helpful staff
They know this equipment inside and out
Our specialists don't work from a catalogue. They've seen what works for different bodies, different homes, and different lifestyles. They'll ask the right questions about your situation before recommending anything.
Whether you talk by phone, video, or in person, you're speaking with someone who genuinely knows their field.

3. Flexible and accommodating
We'll meet you wherever you are
Can't easily get to a store? We'll come to you*. Want to try the equipment before you commit? We offer rental on many products, including mobility scooters, so you can trial it in real life before making a decision.
*Home visits are dependent on location. Contact us for more information.

Yes, there's no charge and no obligation to purchase anything. We offer free consultations because we know that the right advice upfront leads to better outcomes for everyone.
Most phone or video consultations take around 15-30 minutes, depending on your situation. There's no set time limit - we'll take as long as we need to make sure we understand what you're looking for.
That's absolutely fine. Many people get in touch just to get a better understanding of their options and understand what products are on the market before making any decisions. We're happy to help you think things through at whatever pace suits you.
In some cases, yes. For more complex items like mobility scooters, a visit (whether to your home or rest home) can be the best next step. We'll work out the right approach together during your initial consultation.
Rental is available for many of our higher-value products, including mobility scooters. It's a great way to trial equipment in real life before committing to a purchase. Ask your specialist about rental options during your consultation.
There may be more options than you think, including ACC pathways, Lottery Health Grants, and payment plans. Your specialist can walk you through what might apply to your situation.
We have stores in Hamilton, Papamoa, Hastings, and Lower Hutt, and a van base mobility specialist in Auckland. Phone and video consultations are available nationwide. Visits to homes and rest homes are available in many areas - ask your specialist about coverage near you.
