Freight And Delivery In New Zealand
Where Do We Deliver?
Mobility Centre supplies and delivers to all households and businesses throughout New Zealand. This includes rural deliveries to households and businesses. Please note: We only deliver within New Zealand and not overseas. We do not deliver to PO Boxes. For any address to an island other than the North and South Island an additional freight charge will apply. This will be calculated on a case by case basis. You can call or email us in advance of placing your order to check the freight charge for the outlying islands, otherwise we will call or email you to check the extra freight is acceptable before processing your order.
How Much Will it Cost?
Mobility Centre provides freight charges for delivery to North and South Island locations, starting from $12 to $15 for a single standard item and $15 to $18 for two or more standard items, based on your location in either the North or South Island. Larger items – such as (but not limited to) wheelchairs, walkers, ramps, chairs, supports and stools are priced separately for North and South Island deliveries and these freight prices will be calculated based on your order and displayed at checkout. When purchasing online, our freight charge is clearly displayed at the ‘Checkout – Final Step’ part of the process.
Note: Rates for Great Barrier, Waiheke, Chatham and Stewart islands will differ dependent upon freight rates available at the time. We will source quotes on your behalf if necessary.
Do We Provide Notification on Dispatch of Order?
After we receive your order we will send you an email that lets you know your order is on the way. The email will contain a tracking link to ensure you can track every movement of your parcel.
What is the Normal Delivery Time?
Wherever possible, we aim to dispatch your order on the same day that your order is placed. Most orders will take 2 – 3 working days to arrive at your door. It can take a little longer if you are at a rural address, or if the product requires customisation.
If We Are Out of Stock of Your Product?
On the one-off chance that we don’t have your desired product in stock, we will contact you and give you the option to place it on backorder; we will then send the goods on to you as soon as they are in stock.
What Freight Company Do We Use?
We currently use Post Haste Couriers, who deliver to households and business across all of New Zealand. With Post Haste Couriers you can quickly and easily track the status of your delivery by simply entering your label number on their website.
