31 January 2019 – Jean and Trevor Moore were researching walking frame options at the Life Unlimited (Now known as Your Way | Kia Roha) Hamilton store late last year but were unable to try them out outside because it was raining.
So they told staff they would be back but before they left the store, 81-year-old Jean filled in an entry for the Win a Free Uccello kettle competition. The winner would receive a new red Uccello as part of a Super Gold card competition.
When her name was drawn out from the hundreds of entries received at the Life Unlimited (Now known as Your Way | Kia Roha) stores in Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua and Gisborne, she was thrilled.
“I’m really excited about winning the kettle. It will look great in our kitchen,” she said.
The safe, ergonomic Uccello kettle provides independence to people with restricted mobility and strength.
The Uccello makes pouring a kettle light as a feather, while also opening up a world of confidence and independence for anyone who wishes to handle boiling hot water safely.
While in the store, Jean and Trevor tried out some walking frames and settled on a Freihert freedom stroller to replace the one, which the couple had been having difficulty taking in and out of the car.
“We’re all set up now with my new walking frame and the kettle,” said a delighted Jean.
