Did you know the Life Unlimited (now known as Your Way | Kia Roha) Store team provides free information sessions for community groups, clubs and retirement villages?
Hamilton Store manager, Tash Kerrison, says group presentations are a great way for people to see the variety of adaptive equipment that is now available and how it can be used to make independent living easier.
“As people get older, or as a progressive condition worsens, many find that some of life’s daily tasks get increasingly difficult,” says Tash. “But it doesn’t have to be that way. We have lots of simple and affordable solutions to help with everyday things like preparing food, dressing and getting about.”
Sadly, many people aren’t aware of what’s available and may give up doing the things they enjoy, whether it’s going for walks, working in the garden or just being able to open a jar of their favourite pickle.
Life Unlimited (now known as Your Way | Kia Roha) Store has a solution for all these challenges – no matter the cause – and arranging a free presentation from Life Unlimited Store (now known as Your Way | Kia Roha) staff is a great way to learn more.
“We tailor our presentations by providing the most relevant information and equipment for your group, and we can give lots of tips to help you get the most benefit from adaptive equipment,” says Tash.
“We try to keep it fun and interactive too – you’ll be able to test some of our equipment for yourself to see how it can work for you. And of course we’re always happy to answer any questions people have.”
If your community group or organisation is interested in learning about how to live independently, then contact our friendly team to arrange a free, fun and informative presentation specific to your group.
Presentations are available in Hamilton, Papamoa and Hastings, and surrounding areas by arrangement.
