Softech enhances patient comfort and protection. It is a resilient fabric made of millions of cylindrical, hollow fibres coated with silicone, which acts as a lubricant to eliminate friction and reduce sheer forces.
Useful for most chairs including office chairs, armchairs, vehicles, airplane seats and wheelchairs.
- Softech is reversible – one side is breathable, the other waterproof – hypoallergenic and hospital-proven.
- Machine washable to 70ºC or 160ºF. Suitable for tumble drying.
- FDA & CE Approved.
- The silicone coating: Prevents the fibres from absorbing perspiration or urine.
- Lowers the vulnerability of pressure ulcers.
- Insulates against hot or cold.
