Mobility Centre provide a full maintenance and repair service for all mobility equipment including mobility scooters, wheelchairs and walkers.
We recommend having your mobility scooter or wheelchair serviced every 6 to 12 months depending on how often you use it, to ensure the best performance and reliability.
Our mobile technicians can come to your residence and in most cases repair and or service your scooter or wheelchair on-site or you're welcome to bring your equipment to us. Our mobile repair and maintenance service covers the greater Wellington region including Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti and the Wairarapa.
Just like scheduling a service and warrant of fitness for a car, we operate a service reminder programme and we can contact you with a friendly reminder that your scooter or wheelchair is due for a maintenance check so that you don't need to worry about when your next service is due - please ask if you would like to be added to our database.
We encourage our clients who drive mobility scooters and powerchairs to become members of the Automobile Associations Get Home Safely Programme. All our new Invacare & CTM scooters come with a free 3 year membership to this service.
Being a member gives you peace of mind that you will be looked after should anything happen while you're out and about on your scooter no matter what day of the week or time of day. The mobile scooter recovery service will arrange to get your scooter home or to our shop (if open) so that we can get you and your mobility vehicle back up and mobile.
